There are numerous programs at Seattle Children’s that are designed to provide support for organization staff members. These were managed by separate units and sometimes overseen by different leaders. The program was reorganized to report to one leader, and an overarching evaluation approach was implemented. This presentation will review the various programs, the reorganization process, and the use of tools that focus on engagement, recognition and support to build resilience in staff, patients and families.
1. Participants will identify the foundational elements for building resilience.
2. Participants will describe the linkages between engagement, recognition and support as they relate to resilience.
3. Participants will identify the importance of measuring interventions in order to guide the program.
