Councils are a primary method for Nursing Leaders to connect, share ideas and concerns and conduct work sessions on both challenges and opportunities presented by the Leaders. We also celebrate our wins, and support each other when its tough. You will come away at a minimum with a better understanding of what is happening in their area healthcare community.
The Seattle Council Chairs are Distinguished Healthcare Leaders Nancy Wiederhold and Lauren Kalamber. Contact them to be placed on future email communications invitations for the Seattle Council.
This course will provide the Nurse Leader with updated information on the WA DOH behavioral response report along with the impact and resources for leaders.
Identify current themes from the WA DOH report regarding stressors and impact on Nursing Care derived from pandemic response.
Identify and utilize resources available to Leaders for mental health support.
Discuss options for meaningful social support and their impact on Nursing Care and patient outcomes.
